The Copenhagen failure?
In 2009 took place the 15th conference of the United Nations for the climate in Copenhagen, which many NGOs vividly criticised and was widely considered a failure. Paradoxically, despite the absolute fiasco of the conference, the general public’s eye turned to these critical issues and started taking them seriously. NGO and institutional communications informing and raising awareness around a variety of implications participated in changing mindsets and encouraging more responsible behaviours.
